The first thing you are going to need to do is find the breaker or fuse in your breaker panel. If you cannot find or figure out which one it is, I would suggest shutting the power down completly before disconnecting the power to dishwasher. Here is a basic diagram of the complete diswasher setup.

.) Remove the lower access cover at the bottom front of dishwasher, it usually has a couple of screws that hold it on. Some dishwashers require .you to open the door slightly to access the screws. Once you have exposed the lower workings you will see an electrical access cover simular to the picture.
.) Dissconnect power source and cap wire with wire nuts or electrical tape. Remove star nut on the BX cable that is threaded and connects to the electrical box.You can do this by setting a screwdriver on a notch of the nut and tapping it counterclockwise to loosen. Remove the cable from the box.
.) Shut off the water supply to the dishwasher. You should find a shutoff valve under the sink with a water line running to the dishwasher. If there is no shutoff under the sink you will have to shut off the main water to the house.
.)Locate the water line hookup to the dishwaser. You will find it underneath usually opposite of the electrical box where you disconnected the power. Put a small towel or bowl beneath the fitting of the water inlet and remove the line. You will get some water there, thus the need for bowl or towel.
.) Open the door of the dishwasher ad look under the counter. You will see a couple of screws thru two metal tabs into the bottom of the counter. Remove them.
.) Locate the water drain line under your sink going to the side of your sink drain. It is usually a hose approximatly 1″ in diameter with a hose clamp. Dissconnect it at the sink pipe. You will get some water here also, so have a bowel or towel ready.
.) Now you are ready to remove the dishwasher. Pull it staight out while feeding the drain hose with it.
.) Install everthing on your new washer the same as it was connected on the old one. You may beed to buy another water supply hose from your local hardware store, I recomend a flexible style, somtimes the old one is copper and difficult to manipulate. Once you have everthing connected to your new washer you will need to adust the height by turning the feet on the front and rear of the washer to get it to the correct height of your counter. Installing a dishwasher can be easy if you take it step by step.
