Oh The Glory Of Do It Yourself Handyman Jobs

I am here to tell you that sometimes fixing and repairing your own home can a nightmare or a professional looking repair. To begin I will tell you about some of the professional easy to handle handyman jobs I have done in my 30 years of home ownership.

The very first home repair I managed with no problem had to do with home window repair and was putting up wooden storm windows and removing the wooden screens for winter. Not a bad job with all the windows numbered and secured with four little retainers. All I had to do was wash the inner and outer windows and screw them in, bingo job done. The only hard part was the amount, about 15, so it took quite some time. This job wasn’t bad year after year but then, the putty that held the glass into the wooden frame began to crack and fall out.
